What's the difference between Tutoring and Enrichment?
Tutoring helps students catch up and keep up with school (GradeBoost, English Mastery). Enrichment helps students go further (Math Mastery, Competition Prep, STEM Essentials, AI Dev).
Is Math Mastery for students who are behind or ahead?
Both. We assess your child first, fill any gaps, and then keep moving forward at their pace.
Does it replace Math Foundations and Pre-Calculus Essentials?
Yes. Math Mastery combines both into one program that covers every grade.
Which contests do you prepare for?
University of Waterloo contests (Gauss, Pascal, Cayley, Fermat, Euclid and more), Canadian Math Society contests, Math Kangaroo and AMC.
When should we start?
Ideally two to four months before the contest, but we can build a shorter plan if the date is close.
Does STEM Essentials cover high-school science courses?
Yes. It supports Grade 9–12 physics, chemistry and biology, along with the math those courses need.
Is it right for younger students?
Yes. For younger grades we focus on curiosity, simple experiments and strong math foundations.
Does my child need coding experience?
No. We start with the basics and build up to a real project.
Do you offer online, in-home and in-person tutoring?
Yes. Online lessons run live on Google Meet for students anywhere in the world. In person, we teach at your home or at one of 12 library locations in Toronto and York Region. In-home lessons add a travel fee of $3.00 to $12.00 per hour.
Do you tutor students outside Canada, or in other languages?
Yes. Online tutoring is available worldwide and scheduled around your time zone. Lessons can be taught in other languages on request, including Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean. In-person tutoring is only in Toronto and York Region for now.
